OK Geeks, Help A Brother Out
Since last week I've been having trouble posting. Short entries will fly. Longer ones, not so much. I keep losing the connection to blogger.com. Anyone got any ideas? I'm at work, could there be a firewall or something? Is Blogger just going through trouble? Any advice appreciated.

Ask your boss. He probably doesn't want you blogging on his dime.
My boss is a Jewish carpenter Dani.
So if I have no idea how to help you, does that mean I'm safely off the geek squad??
The best you can possibly do is save the post in process as a "draft" on a regular basis and re-open it until you can complete it and post it.
I had that a while back & ended up typing posts in Word & then copying & pasting so when blogger crapped out I still had it in Word. I don't have geek power, just pragmatic advice.
I was having problems posting any pictures...so I don't know if this will help but you could switch to Mozilla Firefox...
It's pretty good.
I haven't really had trouble posting, but blogger seems a bit slow lately.
I haven't had any problems using my dSL connection.
But Saint Nick and Rat have good advice: compose in Word just so you don't lose what you've written. Then try to cut and paste from there.
Rhonda also has a point: try a different browser (especially if you're attempting to use Internet Explorer 7, which appears to suck royally), such as Mozilla (which is simple and appears to be reliable).
Hmmmm, lets see....you could join the cool kids over at wordpress. Blogger sucks ass, didn't you get that memo?
Eclectic, no, it just means you don't have an answer right now.
As for the rest of you, good advice all around. I have tried composing in word, then cutting and pasting it into a "new Post and hitting publish. The problem is that short posts will fly, but a longer post immediately terminates the connection. I think Pug may have hit the nail on the head and it's a problem with Explorer 7. I'll have our tech goon squad check today or tomorrow, as we had a problem with Explorer 7 getting loaded on to our computers as an update, and we didn't want that. I suspect it may have snuck through on me. Thanks for the tips.
Okay - then he shouldn't care if you blog instead of work. I usually type my posts in Word & then copy & paste too since blogger craps out often, but if your problem is long posts I don't know what the problem could be. Sorry, I'm not geeky enough.
Hey Dani, if you can't blog at work, and get paid for it, why blog at all?
